The Culver Steps
Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney (EYRC) came up with programming that would span the needs of new media companies such as Amazon and engage the street with retail and restaurant spaces. Each vista takes the existing historic fabric of downtown Culver City into account. SWA Group collaborated with a plaza area both open and able to be used for multiple purposes and inscribed by rhythmic paving elements.
Ironsmith Paver-Grates® aided SWA’s design by allowing the plaza’s paver patterns to be uniform at surface level. The plaza’s specimen trees rise without interruption.
